Mission Statement: Our purpose is to minister to women through teaching the Word, providing fellowship, encouragement, discipleship, and opportunities to serve the body of Christ for the glory of God. Ephesians 4:12-16


Calendar of Events for Women's Ministries

         Women's Events:

 

            Bible Studies

                   A Beth Moore study, "A Woman's Heart, God's Dwelling Place" 

                                Will begin around Tuesday, September 28 from 10am to noon at the church.

                                The same study will be repeated on Monday nights from 6-8pm at Michelle Clem's home

                                (The Tuesday morning study will provide child care.)

 

                    First Place for Health, "Giving Christ Control" is the book being used.

                                Begins September 14 from 6:30 - 8pm in the church library.

                                Meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month.

 

         Girl's Talk (Usually the fourth Saturday of every month) 9:00-11:00a.m.

                   September 25th ~ Speaker will be Judy Olsen, missionary, from South Africa.  

                                                 She will speaking about the literacy program that she is involved in.

                                                 Demonstration on canning and preserving by Debbie Wetzig.

                   November 13th ~ Speaker will be Marge Wheeler.

                                                 Topic will be "Abundant Living"

                                                 Demonstration on Holiday Ideas: Holiday wrappings, cards, etc.

                  (Coffee shop open half hour early)

  

          WOMEN'S RETREAT AT GRENADA COMMUNITY BEREAN CHURCH

                 October 23, 2010 (10:30-3:30) Save the date

         Moms in Touch (to resume in the fall) meets at 704 W. Lennox in Yreka, Thursday 

                  at 9:00am.  This is a time that moms and grandmas can gather together to pray for 

                  their children and schools.  It is a focused prayer time during the school year.  

                 The contact person is Sue Turner at 841-0814. 

 

  Other studies/activities could be made available depending on interests.
