Sunday Morning Children's Church

Every Sunday during our main service, our kids are dismissed for Children’s Church. Kids in grades 2-5 take part in Club 316, and younger children from 4-year-olds through 1st grade get together for Kingdom Kids, where they learn about God and truths from the Bible with fun activities, songs, and games.

For children from birth through 3, our Nursery is a great place for your kids to be cared for during the main service. Additionally, we offer a room for nursing mothers just off of the fellowship hall.

Our children’s ministries are led by teams of adults and older students in the north wing of the building behind the worship center.  All adult volunteers are background checked and trained as required by state law.

AWANA

It is our prayer that children throughout Shasta Valley come to know, love, and serve the Lord Jesus Christ. We use AWANA to do this through large group Bible teaching & music, awesome games, and individualized handbook time. We have fun special theme nights and other activities throughout the AWANA year.

Wednesday evenings, 6:00 – 7:30 pm, September-March

  • Cubbies – Age 3, 4 (Must be 3 by Sept. 1)
  • Sparks – Grades K, 1, 2
  • T n T – Grades 3-6

SUMMER EVENTS

Every summer, we head outdoors to Junior Camp— a 3 night camp out for our children in grades 4-8 and a Vacation Bible School (VBS) for kids of all ages.

We also partner with Kidder Creek Orchard Camp in Scott Valley, and always encourage families to attend.

Vacation bible School

9am-12pm

VBS is for Children 4 years old through 6th grade.  There will also be a Jr. high group that meets daily!
