Week of 3/3/24

Dear Church Family,
Sunday was beautiful. My heart was glad to see so many immersed in conversation after the service and some also praying for one another. What a gift to sing, pray, and have fellowship in Jesus Christ together.

I was reminding myself on Sunday afternoon how Paul wasn't coming up with anything new when he wrote his letter to the Ephesians. Paul was simply 'fleshing out' things Jesus had already said about believers being united with him. It's the heart behind the actions of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, that we, the lost sons and daughters, would be redeemed to know and glorify our Maker as He deserves. There is no end to the depth of delight that comes from that fellowship. Chew on that for a moment. It makes me so thankful and to want others to see and know it also.

Home Enjoyment
Read Ephesians 4:11-16 and then read John 17.
What connections do you see?
How are Jesus' desires for us connected with his design for the church?
Remember that these were some of Jesus' last words before going to the cross for us. With that in mind compare Ephesians 4:16 and John 17:26.

Extra Credit : )
Read Psalm 1. What are a few things it teaches about maturity?
